In the 'did not' column would be someone turning the flag into a piece of apparel - particularly a 'banana hammock'.

I couldn't believe it.
People wearing flag pins or flag patches - nothing wrong with that.
People wearing things like flag swim suits or shorts? It's hard to refrain from calling them out.
