These are words that come easily to mind as I consider the divers working in incredibly dangerous conditions to rescue the boys trapped in that cave in Thailand.

One has already given his life.

Four of the boys have been rescued.

The divers are the operators. Not as dangerous, but equally intense, are the activities of those in support of the operation.

Quite amazing. The oft-overused word "awesome" certainly fits this situation.

support separating children from their parents... the morale compass of the nation is spinning out of control. Stories like this give me a glimmer of hope we can collectively find our way back.

At certain of those choke points you have to take off your equipment to get through to the truly magnificent chambers.

Then it's like flying weightless into a gnome-like wonderland.
