Will Trump back down on his tariff war or will he double down?

This is a critical question. This question affects all of us. I do not believe other countries will give into Trumps demands. He is trying to blackmail other countries to do what he wants. If he doubles down, other countries will double down.

This may be the decision that destroys Trump. Trump has a 1950s view of America. That reality is gone.

Near as I can tell, Trump has backed down once, and then only partially and superficially. I am referring to the family separations policy. Every other time, he has doubled down, regardless.

He never admits fault. The war will continue. China and Canada andthe EU, none of whom wanted this nonsense, are not going to be bullied.

Them personally. Twitler is doing what Putin wants and guess who will step into the void to replace the US? Russia. By 2020 the US will be unrecognizable and Twitler (with the help of the corporate profit driven media) will blame the Democratic Party for the devastation because they obstructed his agenda and the stupid lemmings will vote for him in again in 2020. The voter suppression, gerrymandering, Stricter ID requirements, having to prove citizenship to vote and denaturalization will be in full force. I really want to be optimistic about this November but I’m worried Twitler will enrage and energize his racist cult base to storm the voting booths while apathetic democratic voters will sit it out like they did in 2016. I would love to leave this country but I fear what’s happening here will happen in other countries because Russian now has a tried and true blueprint how to destabilize democracies.

I hope I am wrong.
