Thai SEALS are Royal SEALS, belonging to a regiment directly commanded by the King of Thailand. Accordingly, Kunan will receive a fully royally-sponsored funeral with the entire royal family in attendance.
In 2018 we don't get that many heros; so I just wanted to call this one out.

but, I've had a constant lump in my throat since his death. I will never know him, but I certainly mourn him. We need more like him--badly.

for bravery as well.
I actually looked up what medals and ribbons they the Thai government awards and there's many to choose from.
All the divers deserve to be recognized in this way but he should get the highest..

I have spent a lot of time in Thailand, I live there part of each year. The Wild Boars will revere this man for the rest of their days. I am quite certain there will be many sons named Saman.
