I'm already seeing the impacts of Twitler's tariffs

For at least 27 years I have been going to this flea market that is held on the first Saturday of every month in a junior college parking lot. In the beginning the place was full of vendors selling a mixture of new and old things. Recently I noticed there is more used things and Less new stuff. One of the long time vendors told me she has had to raise prices from her Chinese wholesalers because they have raised wholesale prices in advance of these expected tariffs. Another vendor pretty much said the same thing. The flea market has gone from heavily crowded with new items to now sellers of second hand stuff with very little new stuff. I’ve seen the change in the last two months.

On a funny side as I was leaving I saw a guy with a t-shirt that said,”He’s not my president”in different languages. I told him I liked his shirt and had one I wore in Europe and got compliments.
He got all animated and started telling me a lot of stuff we talk about on DU. I asked him if he ever read DU and told him to check it out. I also asked him if he got hassled wearing those shirts in public he told me no but wouldn’t wear it in other areas where we live. I wear my anti Twitler shirts at protest rallies but not as everyday wear.

were all marked Clearance/Discontinued. Don’t know for sure if it was tariff related, but I wonder. Ticks me off because I really liked them and they had pretty good carb numbers.

They’re not super low, but the quinoa bowls are in the mid 20s, and a couple of the soups are in the high teens. I like that they are different from the usual brands. The pho soup is really good.

Can't recall the brand name, but it comes in Florentine and in Ham & cheese flavors.
Not frozen, but cold in the deli section.
A whole pie-shaped quiche, not inexpensive - ca $10 or $12- but it goes far.
Kroger doesn't stock a whole lot of them, so hope they don't discontinue stocking them due to 45's little adventures.
