Am I the only one who sees parallels between Trump's negotiations with North Korea

Am I the only one who sees parallels between Trump's negotiations with North Korea and the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact ? The only thing missing is Operation Barbarossa.

...by signing a non-aggression pact. They promptly divided Poland between themselves and established their agreed upon spheres of influence. Stalin did allow himself to be lulled into a false sense of security over the next 22 months, but each side did realize benefits from the pact, however temporary they were for the Soviet side. In contrast, I'd challenge the most rabid MAGAt to cite even one thing we gained from tRump's laughable attempt at diplomacy with North Korea.
