Stalin did allow himself to be lulled into a false sense of security over the next 22 months, but each side did realize benefits from the pact, however temporary they were for the Soviet side. In contrast, I'd challenge the most rabid MAGAt to cite even one thing we gained from tRump's laughable attempt at diplomacy with North Korea.
