Was this some of the information that McConnell blocked from the public knowing in 2016?
"The first intimations that Trump might harbor a dark secret originated among Americas European allies, which, being situated closer to Russia, have had more experience fending off its nefarious encroachments. In 2015, Western European intelligence agencies began picking up evidence of communications between the Russian government and people in Donald Trumps orbit. In April 2016, one of the Baltic states shared with thenCIA director John Brennan an audio recording of Russians discussing funneling money to the Trump campaign. In the summer of 2016, Robert Hannigan, head of the U.K. intelligence agency GCHQ, flew to Washington to brief Brennan on intercepted communications between the Trump campaign and Russia."

It'll be like the stoning scene in 'Life of Brian':
"Are there any Trump voters here?"
"MAGA! **hrum hrumm** <begin William F. Buckley Yalie prick voice> Good heavens, man, certainly not. Well, at least none worth speaking of."

His schtick has got to be wearing thin for at least some of his supporters. Once the GOP has squeezed the last ounce of usefulness out of him, perhaps as soon as this SCOTUS appointment, they'll suddenly "see the light" of 2020 and turn their backs on him in order to appear more moderate. Or not. Gosh, I'm sick of his clown show.

It's all about money, now. Money over country.
