The person who gave the order to separate children from parents, belongs in jail.

Whoever gave that order, belongs in jail. NOW!!
If the order was given by Trump then he belongs in jail. There was no legal procedures which are required for such action. Obviously there was no plan to return children to their parents as we cab see . The original order came from someone, and that hideous asshole belongs in jail. NOW!. Someone gave that order. We all suppose it was Trump, but we need to know the truth.

Usually there is a trial to determine if the parent is abusing their children. There was no trial, no warning...(go home to where you came from..or we will take your kids away from you..) I am horrified as to the pain and suffering this caused.

And it is our government. I have seen no information on how the country feels about taking kids away from their parents no matter who they are.

be a deterrent to people seeking asylum and those wishing to immigrate with out documentation. The motive for the deterrent was pure racism and hate for brown people.

That is why it is so easy for right wingers to justify separation. It is rooted in xenophobia.

Hekate, I was listening to Randi today she was talking to someone who was on a flight I don't know what flight she was on, but she said there was a young boy sitting next to her, had new clothes on she sensed he was scared, didn't talk much. She possibly thought it could have been a child ripped from his parents but she didn't pursue.

I think this horrible event is permeating those of us who have some compassion for humanity, it has shook us to the core. You don't do this to children and what's worse we don't know what kind of inhumane treatment is being done to them.

7. What did they actually mean to happen?

That's what I don't get. Let's not even go to the moral issue-- the cruelty and sadism involved, the deliberate damaging of families.
Just practically-- what were they wanting as a result?

It's got to be costing millions of dollars. It's going to cost millions more. (And no matter how Trump moans about immigrants, the undocumented actually pay into the system they can't benefit from, so there is no savings here.)
No judge worth the paper is going to approve of this careless disposal of children. As we all know, you put a coat into the coat check at a restaurant, and they give you a receipt-- they didn't even bother to do that with these babies.

The judges are all going to have to find against Trump. There are now several agencies completely consumed with this mess, and some of the agents could go to jail.
When reports come in that children were sent to foster homes that hadn't been cleared and are injured or 'disappeared," or the worst happens and some get sick and die-- one boy, a doctor reported, had already tried repeatedly to kill himself and had to be put in psychiatric care.

I know that Trump's Awful Evangelicals are salivatingly willing to put up with a lot, and consistency is not their thing-- but surely even a few of them and a few of their pastors are getting horrified.
And they're earning the hatred of entire groups who will never vote Republican.
What was it they wanted? Was it just to scare immigrants off?

I keep coming back to this-- Trump is a sadist. He gets a charge out of this. He's rich and bored and jaded, and he probably thinks this is fun, all those liberals sad about the babies, the babies crying for their parents, the parents in despair. He likes that.

I'm not sure what the ICE and CBP and HHS people are thinking. Surely among them are a few human beings. Then again, we've learned over and over that "decent" people are willing to give up their morality when a strongman orders them to.

Then what is Trump going to say?...How will he justify a death in the hands of the Trump's government?..
When this happens, and it might or already has..then what does he say? "It wasn't my fault" He says...Well whose fault was it? Who gave the order?..Who backed up the order ?

But, on a humanitarian basis, perhaps this truly is the turning point - well, at least we can HOPE so!
