(28,270 posts)Imagine how evil a person would have to be to call the cops on that little angelic looking kid, just doing his job.
I weep over the evil that runs rampant in Trump's Amerika.

(10,098 posts)Seems like every day there are stories like this, let alone guns being drawn on kids, people being tased and so on. But if you are white and point guns at federal officials you get a presidential pardon.

(4,931 posts)There should be a law that if you call 911 for non-emergency, and it ends up being something like this, the person that called should be forced to pay for the cost of the cops time, the 911 operators time, and any administrative costs. I'm sure it will about to 1000s if not 10s of 1000s of dollars.

(13,749 posts)It sounds like the neighbor's call was to report that someone was taking something from their neighbor's porch, not that someone was making a delivery.

(34,195 posts)The caller saw someone walk up to a porch empty handed, and leave with something.
With all the news stories about stolen packages from doorways,
the suspicious neighbor did the right thing.
But it got classified as racist?
Even the mother said as soon as she told the cop they were delivering papers, he left.

And, they couldn't tell he was walking away with a newspaper?
Come on. Your rationale of their actions is ridiculous.

(47,209 posts)a paperboy doing his rounds, she shouldnt be calling the cops. For fucks sake, its not that hard to not assume the worst of little kids.

(26,500 posts)he didn't have a radar gun. He could tell I was speeding because he estimated based on how fast he had to go to catch up with me. Ok fine. Then he proceeded to go to the passenger's side to talk to my white girlfriend to make sure everything was ok. Then came the backup. Coincidentally I was pulled over in front of her dad's house and he came out giving them all kinds of shit.

WTF? Never mind, I know, some people are just awful. Sadly, there are more of them than I ever thought.
