This is from the Portland newsweekly Willamette Week. The protest took place in Lake Oswego, OR. Lake Oswego is a wealthy suburb just south of Portland. It’s heavily Republican, though I suspect most are of the socially moderate, fiscally conservative type. These were the town cranks and kooks.

3. I wouldn't doubt it. I've heard the sentiment before.

Even if it is photoshopped, there's too many Trumpeteers out there who would sell their own kids into slavery and burn down their own houses and businesses without hesitation if they thought it would outrage a liberal.
These are the same idiots who think people in the "Hold my beer" meme indicates a Freedom! Fighter to be admired and emulated instead of someone who is either criminally stupid or a Darwin Award competitor.

This sign really pissed me off. There are parts of the US where Spanish-speaking settlers preceding English-speaking arrivals by 200 years!

And if we are going to be completely correct, all the European languages outdone by the many First Nations' languages by THOUSANDS of years!

I would really like to hear an explanation from this family as to why English should take precedent.
