Freepers don't seem to be overly joyed by the pick of Kavanaugh

A Catholic

Another GOPe

It's a bad sign when George W. Bush praises the pick.

Below are samples of the negative opinions being expressed in Freeperville:

"This is a Bushie .
Jeb was praising this choice .
WSJ and NRO and Newsmax like him too .
Coulter the Romney groupie liked him .
The Bush-bot Globalist pick .
I have a bad feeling about this one.
He looks as bad as the Sessions , Wray, and Rosenstein decision.
Another Roberts and by the way he gave Roberts the theory about saving Obamacare ."

"Unreal that Im actually relying on the Dummycrap pukes to stop the kavanaugh process..."

"If I were a Democrat, I would be having a giant party. This guy will pass easily."

“He’s a weak pick and the democrats won’t risk a fight that might leave them stuck with a real constitutionalist. They'll whine, but they'll confirm. ”

"I hate the Kavanaugh pick..."

"Not happy....not happy at all"

"Yeah. I don’t know about this guy.

He was involved in the Vince Foster cover up. Was on the investigation committee that concluded (falsely) that is was a suicide."

"This guy will be another Roberts. He will tilt the way the wind blows, with maybe a hint more conservative than liberal. Soon he will be considered a “swing vote” like his mentor. If the libs need him for a 5-4 vote like Kennedy with gay marriage, they have their man.

When I read the views of the various candidates the night Kennedy retired, this guy made the bottom of my list."

There's a few posts praising the pick, others are adopting a wait and see attitude and some see it as a pragmatic choice as the odds of a real conservative being approved by the Senate are very slim to none.

Miserably sad people whose failed lives can only be justified by it being everyone else's fault.

Most of their favorite justices in recent years were Catholic.
