2. There's nothing to be gained by going backward

I'm not saying that to be contrary - it's really just the truth.

Every generation has had to face the unknown, including my Dad and his buddies who went to fight in World War II. My friends and classmates who fought in Vietnam, and the youngsters today who are fighting in the Middle East. It's not all about war either, I'm just making the point that the unknown is never easy. But that won't change. We owe it to past and future generations to do our share, now.
