Of course, there's nothing in the Constitution that allows judicial review of impeachment proceedings. But is there any doubt that Crazy Al is giving an preview of 45's "nuclear option"...even if impeached and convicted, Trump will refuse to leave office and count on his appointees and their buddies on the Court to rip up the Constitution in order to keep him in power? And is there anyone who could stop them from doing so?

(26,044 posts)Personally, I was expecting that, should HRC win, Trump would have cried fraud and called upon congressional Republicans to refuse to certify the Electoral College result and have the House choose the president which they would, frankly, have been likely to do.
