Hit the phones. I called Manchin, Donnelly, Heitkamp, Murkowsi,

Collins, Jones, Cotton, and Boozman's offices in DC this morning urging they vote "No" on Kavanaugh confirmation.

I said although I disagreed with his ideology, we could not have a SCOTUS judge who believes in an Imperial Presidency. That the entire concept is anti-Constitutional.
Also said 45 shouldn't be allowed to nominate anybody while he is under investigation.

How did it go? Were they polite, or were you talking to recording machines?

Also... do the Senator's offices still ask callers if they are an actual constituent? (I always got the impression they were looking for an excuse to ignore, or disregard, comments from people who didn't actually live in the Senator's state.)

other personal information. When I spoke with staff they were polite and two said that apparently I had done my homework on Kavanaugh.
