Sen. Angus King (I-ME) praised Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) for his work on the Senate Intelligence Committee, according to Knox VillageSoup:

I never made the connection that he was related. Figures a GOPer would be related to one of the great villains.

I can't really talk. My wife does genealogy research and apparently I am descended from Benedict Arnold. Of course my wife is so pissed off with American political culture that she thinks the loyalists may have had the right idea.
