Trump pulled out of the Iran Accord--and put a hold on a planned $20 billion in jet sales to Iran by Boeing. Within days, Russia had begun talks to scoop up the lucrative contract. Coincidence?

Now Lockheed is about to lose a $2 billion contract with Mexico to sell helicopters due to Trumps trade war. Who will pick up the contract? Maybe Bell Helicopter. But not Bell in the US. Bell in Russia. That's right. The Russian helicopter industry is flourishing and former US employers like Bell are now building helicopters in Russia.

I am sure the guys at Stormfront will be glad to know that great US manufacturing jobs are going oversees to folks who are sort of Aryan Yes, I know that Hitler considered Slavs inferior to Aryans, but maybe U.S. Neo-Nazis are more enlightened. And maybe Russian Slavs have forgiven Aryan Nazis for all the atrocities that they committed in the USSR in WWII, and that is why they are being such good "friends" to them in the United States now--giving them Trump as president and stealing their jobs and all.
Caterpillar, another US company that is being hurt by Trump's crazy trade polices also has manufacturing operations in Russia. I will bet that Putin is not doing anything to drive a major employer like Caterpillar away or hurt its profits.

As Caterpillar strives for another 90 years, Russia will continue to be a key element of that success.
Another US manufacturer that took a hit due to Trump is Cummins...which also happens to have a presence in Russia.
Cummins presence in Russia dates back to the middle 1970s, when Cummins engines entered the market as installed in imported mining dump trucks. Since then Cummins brand has become widely acknowledged among major mining sites of the former Soviet Union, creating a strong foundation for the customers loyalty that we are proud to declare

Wow. Just a little more of Trump's interference and a lot of major US manufacturers may be tempted to lay off employees here and move their jobs to Russia.Putin rides a Harley and Harley Davidson has indicated they will move some of their jobs overseas. I am sure that Russia would welcome them with open arms. Boeing already has has operations in Russia. Tesla is trying to move into the Russia market. What better way than to move production to Russia where they will not be at the whim of a giant man-child who can be bribed to impose a tariff or cancel a treaty at a moment's notice on a whim or to help the Russian economy or even to make someone's "put stock options" pay off?
Good think for Trump that the employees being laid off at Mid Continental Nail due to his tariffs love him more than they love being able to pay the rent or eat. I am sure that those Trump supporters will cheer when their jobs go to Mexico. It will mean fewer Mexicans coming up here looking for work, right? And then they can compete for all those jobs cleaning motel rooms and bussing tables that the immigrants snatch up.
A list of some of the companies that have already been hurt by Trump, the American Job Terminator:

(19,240 posts)That means the manufacturers will be forced to move to other countries! This is so obvious! And yet, as long as Russia greases the palms of Trump and the GOP they will let it happen and all the jobs will move overseas. What is wrong with people?
