Why do so many have so much difficulty with this concept?

(5,037 posts)I would say that tRump supporters share many character traits with him, so whenever tRump is criticized for all of the above (and more), these supporters take it personally and will refuse to believe there is anything (major) wrong with tRump's conduct.

(12,344 posts)In the Asch conformity experiments, subjects had to determine the relative length of line when compared to three other lines. The subject was in a room full of actors who consistently gave the wrong answers. Most subjects also gave wrong answers when the others did, at least sometimes. Only 25% consistently went with their own eyes rather than majority opinion.
