MSNBC: Trump presser getting simultaneously fact checked.

He just can't help himself. He always needs to brag, put down President Obama, lie, lie, and lie some more.

He has his xanax voice this morning.

Joe Scarborough (I know people here hate him), is simultaneously breaking in to fact check and point out how Trump has no clue.

I bet you did not know that people in the UK love Trump. and that he is having so much success righting the entire world, in fact everyone loves him, all the folks in NATO and NATO countries, blah blah blah. I just got up and turned on the TV, my god how I felt
like vomiting. We need to get this man in a straight jacket!

They are normally looped into the same RWNJ accounts.

Only 11% is rather satisfying, I wouldn't have been surprised at a figure closer to 20%.

That was a sight to behold.

No Trump lies were allowed to stand.

This real-time fact-checking should be standard operating practice for all real news outlets.

He was as much an enabler of this descent of the GOP into fascism as any of that tribe. He won't admit it, of course. But he once said, on his old evening show, that you could not possibly be a patriot if you did not 100% support President Bush's invasion of Iraq and subsequent torturing of prisoners.

But he seems to be acknowledging his past sins by the penance he is doing daily on his morning show, pointing out the lies and incompetence of Trump. Maybe he's getting back a piece of his shredded soul, who knows?

Tiger's stripes don't change.

But I will give him this much: he sees what a fascist, racist POS is in the WH and has chosen to put as much distance as possible between himself and that fascist, racist POS.

I still don't like him at all, but I do appreciate that he loves his country enough to point out the lies spewing from that bunch of traitors. It's such a bizarre feeling to find myself more or less on the same side as the likes of him, George Will, the Bush family, Ana Navarro, Michael Steele, and numerous others, who at one time, used to make me want to throw a brick through the TV every time I saw them on it. What a fucked up mess we are in.

Red Sox fans are over Babe Ruth, Miami fans are over LeBron.

People's opinions change, they are not tattooed on the brain. History is a flowing river, not stagnant pond. That is why making something "great again" can't work, it requires flowing upstream in time.

Go with the flow, but always have your ideas dominate the pack of inner tubes as we all go downstream.

Those who cling to your ideas, welcome them. But don't think they can never be cast astray. How hard they cling to the community of good ideas depends on me and you.
