Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox & Friends to spin.

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt read a quote from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer holding Trump “is more loyal to President Putin than to our NATO allies.”

“That’s a disgraceful comment by the minority leaders in the House and the Senate,” Conway replied. “Because they’re always making everything so political and so personal.”

Trump kicked off the summit with NATO allies by trashing members — most notably Germany— for not contributing enough to the alliance. Meanwhile, he said he hoped to see Putin one day as a “friend.” Putin of course, hates NATO, and Trump undermining the alliance does him a great favor.

Despite his harsh words, Trump maintained on Thursday his commitment to NATO.
