We are getting sucked into the side show

The main event is now over. Brian Benczkowski has been confirmed by the Senate, with the help of a Democrat no less.

Meanwhile we rant on and on about the Peter Strzok distraction and republicans have already won.

GAME OVER

Brian Benczkowski is the most unqualified and inexperienced person to ever hold that position in US history and more importantly very likely a Russian mole and we let his confirmation through with barely a peep.

Democrats had a feathers in a ruffle over some bullshit that barely matters.

Guess I’ll start learning Russian now...

It’s of a piece. It’s watching the GOP try to hijack the process. It’s important. What do you want us to do?

A sideshow. A canard.

Yes, it’s interesting in a reality TV sort of way. The thing that there is no “there” there.
The guy did nothing wrong and little to nothing will come of any of it. The republicans are playing a game and it’s on purpose.

Over in the Senate they just confirmed the guy completely empowered to up end the Mueller investigation and ALL related federal investigations related to it.

They just confirmed the guy who would become Mueller’s boss when trump fires Rosenstein.

A guy completely unequiped for the position and completely beholden to trump and a likely Russian mole.

We should care A LOT more about that.

as though he had absolute knowledge.

Thing is, that one guy never offers objective evidence to support his hypothesis, nor does he realize that, unlike himself, many people can hold more than one concern simultaneously.

It's a creative way to appear both more clever and more effective to ourselves than reality may otherwise warrant.

Nice job, fella.

You managed to be passive aggressive and condescending to me when I wasn’t even talking to you. But please feel free to attack me if it makes you all warm and fuzzy.

I gave many, many reasons why the Brian Benczkowski story is far more important and of material interest to the future of the Mueller investigation.
I watched the general discussion feed full of stories about a sideshow that matters very little to the big picture when a much bigger issue was unfolding over in the Senate.

Brian Benczkowski is completely unfit for the position he was just confirmed to take. That isn’t not my opinion but the assessment of members of Congress and the legal community.

This guy is a trump stooge and is now the number 3 guy at DOJ.

I offered an opinion no different than anyone else but you saw fit to attack instead of holding an intelligent discussion. Again, if that helps you get through the day I could care less. Have fun.

I am guilty, maybe not the correct word, of thinking the Mueller investigation will undo the tragedy that has befallen this country. It may indeed be a more fragile hope than I had believed.

Partner with major dc firm Kirkland & Ellis, gives surface respectability - tho the plot may thicken.
Mueller has got have been on top of this name for some time, and anticipate some things. Hope.
