Kavanaugh Racked Up Debt From Buying An Abundance Of Nats Tickets

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh racked up tens of thousands of dollars of debt from purchasing a boodle of Washington Nationals tickets in the past 10 years, according to a Wednesday Washington Post report.

According to a preview of Kavanaugh’s financial disclosures provided by the White House, he had between $60,000 and $200,000 in total debt over three credit cards and a loan in 2016. Per the Post, the debts were either paid off or dropped to below the minimum needed to report by 2017.

Deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah told the Post that Kavanaugh’s friends reimbursed him for the tickets and that Kavanaugh has since stopped purchasing season ticket packages.

"Investing" on his credit cards, hoping to turn profits on baseball tickets he got on borrowed cash.

HOW TRUMP-LIKE IS THAT?!?

Hey, an average Joe ... I don't have much problem with that. We all gotta do what we gotta do. But a SCOTUS candidate? That's a whole different matter. Esp. given his 'leanings'.

What a f***ing JOKE.

And they are pricey.. hence the name luxury box.
I would imagine such a box would require one name and one payment. It is possible he was the central person buying the box and the rest of the participants in the deal would reimburse him.
This guy is a scumbag, but I don't think baseball tickets will prevent his nomination

5. Splitting season tickets is pretty common

I bet some of the better seats that are reserved for season ticket holder are $150-200 per seat per game. Look at 80 home games and that’s a big expense.

It’s oretty common for groups of people to go in together and split a package. Of course being season tickets one person has to make the overall purchase.

My dad was in with a group that did it for Braves games in the 80’s and 90’s. It was a bunch of guys at his VFW post from NC and everyone who bought in got 4 games, 4 seats. They put a chart of the season up in the bingo hall and used the bingo machine draw numbers, when one of your 4 numbers was drawn you went up and picked one game, that was repeated until they all all distributed. I remember going with him to see what games we were going to get to watch.
