Smoking gun? July 27, 2016: 'Russia, if you're listening....'

July 27, 2016, Trump: "Russia, if you're listening,
I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing."
Indictment: That evening, Russian operatives targeted Clinton campaign emails "for the first time."

Boom. A big boom from today’s announced indictments of 12 Russian intelligence operatives.
Note the date. July 27, 2016.

July 27, 2016, candidate Donald Trump:

"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press," the Republican presidential nominee told reporters.

From the indictments:

?1531501774

… on or about July 27, 2016, the Conspirators attempted after hours to spearphish for the first time email accounts at a domain hosted by a third-party provider and used by Clinton’s personal office. At or around the same time, they also targeted seventy-six email addresses at the domain for the Clinton Campaign.

Russia was clearly listening, or had already been talking.

explicitly, publicly, calling for a foreign power to commit espionage on americans is beyond outrageous.

once again, can you imagine for one minute a democrat doing this and the media responding with barely a notice?

c'mon, that democrat's career would be instantly over. there's no "just joking" defense for that because there's no joke there, no humor, nothing. it's completely out of bounds.

but the media barely noticed, and when they did they quickly let donnie say he was just joking and they dropped it entirely.

even after the espionage took place, they continued to ignore that donnie had overtly asked for it.

the media thought it newsworthy to mock podesta (a victim of russian espionage) for his risotto recipe. *that* was newsworthy, but taking a hard look at the fact that donnie had solicited that foreign espionage was deemed not a story at all.

I think it's looking very bad for Trump.

Hard for Rudy to make a legal case when Trump colludes on TV and now we see the immediate reciprocation from the Russians. Not a joke, a crime committed in front of our eyes.

if Trump was told to run his mouth about Russia helping him, or did he think that up all by himself? People should have started running for the door the minute that language went out into the air.
