Donald Trump UK visit: Awkward moment US president steps in front of Queen

Donald Trump UK visit: Awkward moment US president steps in front of Queen during Windsor Castle visit

This is the awkward moment Donald Trump blocked the Queen's path as the pair walked alongside the Coldstream Guards at Windsor Castle.

Footage shows the US president stepping in front of the Queen in the quadrangle of the royal residence, leaving her in his wake.

The UK head of state was forced her walk around him to keep up.

In a separate faux pas, Mr Trump did not bow and First Lady Melania did not curtsy when the pair shook hands with the monarch upon arrival.

I'm just surprised he didn't slap her on the back and call her "Liz."

I wonder what went through he mind? That was likely the first time she's ever been positioned behind anyone since she became Queen.
