remember when republicans and the media went ballistic when bill clinton met loretta lynch?

so much speculation about how this brief, chance encounter might have involved some nefarious discussion about someone or other because lynch was in charge of the doj and the doj was investigating hillary and bill is of course married to hillary.

lots of dots to connect and lots of speculation and whatever words could have been exchanged, it's not clear what could have been all that horrible, but no matter, republicans and the media were all so sure there must have been some kind of obstruction or interference or whatever.

now, donnie is about to have a well-planned, private meeting -- no americans allowed -- with the mastermind of an international criminal conspiracy to commit espionage and to illegally assist donnie to become president, apparently in exchange for favors of office.

this while donnie's crew is under criminal investigation, quite likely donnie himself is under criminal investigation, for ties with members of this very same international criminal organization.

republicans, of course, think nothing wrong with this somehow.

do you think the media will react with even a tiny fraction of the outrage they mustered against the clintons for the chance meeting with lynch??

You'd think the unbiased, right-down-the-middle, nonpartisan popular media would apply the goose-and-gander principle.

… I did not think a former President and then-present AG meeting was odd. Their traveling happened to make a meeting possible and I think President Clinton wanted to congratulate her on the position she had attained. After thinking about it, maybe you could see how the FOX folks would react... but Bill Clinton had Janet Reno and knew he wouldn't get Loretta Lynch to do anything criminal. I think they might have mentioned the email investigation in jest... there was no Trump-like crime.

it's not like bill clinton had any official power. what could he have even promised lynch in exchange for whatever?

all this aside from the fact that the investigation into hillary was the real witch hunt to begin with....

and the ultimate irony, that hillary's email scandal was deemed to be an issue because maybe she made classified information available to hackers -- and then they don't care when donnie explicitly solicits and gets hackers to hack emails.

It takes a lot of thankless work to find it. This used to be why we had the MSM, but in the past 20 years they have given up on their job in order to be "Fair and Balanced".

This is my theory of the Russians and Republicans are doing- put so much information out there that people don't know what to believe and they just shut down.

the media doesn't know how to stop using a source when the source constantly lies, at least if that source is republicans.

if it's a democrat, one lie or even one off-script line and they'll never be invited back on camera again.

but republicans can lie up a storm and the media will have them back on the next day and the next day....

this is more the root of the problem. republicans dumping a ton of lies is just them taking full advantage of this problem.
