He will be on time for Vladimir. And will also promptly roll over for a belly rub.

that Trump was deliberately late as a means to assert his (in his mind) dominance, leaving the Queen - the head of state and a 92-year-old lady - standing around waiting for him. He will not do that to Putin; it's more likely that Putin will keep him waiting.

He was never going to let a woman make him step up.

What a miserable little fucking wanker. I wish she would have beaten him senseless with her umbrella.

However, she dissed him appropriately by giving him only 20 minutes of her time for a cup of tea and a biscuit, which was more or less like leaving a $1 tip for a rude, incompetent waiter after an expensive dinner.

It kind of reminds me of something a Norwegian friend told me: In Scandinavia if you are invited into someone's home you will almost always be offered a cup of coffee and something to eat - even if you're just there to read the electric meter or repair the dishwasher. You know you aren't welcome and they want you to leave if you aren't offered coffee. It was kind of like that.

From the "never apologize, never explain" era of 1970s bad business school training. It's all of a piece, from the aggressive handshake to the deliberate tardiness. Trump is the personification of this power tie nonsense. Tricks and tactics designed to establish yourself as the dominant person in any setting.

But no, Trump won't dare be late to his performance review with his boss.

refused to meet him after the first 2 or 3 tardy minutes. She could've just picked up and said "I've had it with the wanker". Imagine tRump arriving and nobody there.
