1. No offense intended, but I never have gotten the very odd reverence for Nancy. She was a looney.

Melania dresses like what she is....an Eastern European soft core porn model. Nancy dressed like what she was...an astrology reading Presidential helpmate. They are/were both social climbing nuts. "Reverence" was probably a bad reference on my part. I realize that is NOT what you meant, but some others in this country still do.

4. The best part was the manufactured "love story" between Nancy and Saint Ronnie

Nancy got on the black list and Ronnie was the man to see about such things given the political favors he was owed for ratting out his union brothers and sisters. A little quid pro quo later and Nancy managed to get knocked up. They were forced to marry to keep from ruining both of their careers. Love had nothing to do with it, but I suppose there has to be something said for putting up with her batshit craziness for all those years. The strangest part is why Sinatra had anything to do with her.
