My father instilled in me a dedication to public service and always pushed my brother and me to "leave the wood pile a little bit higher than you found it." As state Senator, I will serve New Hampshire based on this simple principle.
I grew up in New Hampshire, went to public schools in New Hampshire and am proud to be raising my three little boys with Katie, my amazing wife of eight years, in New Hampshire today. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and then took a job in Washington, DC, conducting terrorism threat assessments for the Department of Defense as a contractor. Then I created and ran an international business development firm focused on Africa, where Katie and I lived for two years prior to returning to the Granite State.
Upon our return, I completed a MBA and joined an elite cybersecurity startup based in Silicon Valley as one of the first employees where I still work today.
