I get Politico e-mailed right to my inbox, right? Well, they never e-mail me stories that don’t toe the KGOP line. They seem like Fox-lite to me most of the time.

Blank subpoenas are subpoenas that are signed off on without names on them, literally granting Mueller the right to subpoena anyone at will. He's done hundreds of these already and he just got another hundred.

This sounds like Trump's people trying to send out misinformation to hopefully lessen the discussion about the probe.

including Roger Stone's attorneys. It goes on to give the opinion of other experts, such as a former federal prosecutor, that yesterday's indictments actually raise the possibility of Americans being charged in connection with this Russian operation.

that the probe might be winding down, and it reports plenty of opinions that disagree.

And it says the DT team attitude might be "wishful thinking."

Stone might be next week. I don't think Mueller is winding down, but I think some significant indictments will drop soon so it can't be claimed they influenced the election. Junior is likely to be on the list, too.

is winding down the investigation. The headline of the story alone makes it clear your assertion is "fake news" Trump’s allies and lawyers see hope that Mueller’s work is wrapping up

One former federal prosecutor said Mueller's team surely would have considered indicting Stone or any other Americans who interacted with the hackers, so Friday's indictment and the announced hand-off lower the chances that will happen.

"If you had enough evidence for indicting the Americans, you would probably put it all in together," said Jeff Cramer of Berkeley Research Group. "However, even if there wasn't enough related to these 12 defendants to put Stone on the hook, he could be put on the hook by other facts related to this investigation."

The article is dripping with pro-Trump spin. See above as evidence for that alone. It’s clear that the writer of this article took a sympathetic ear to Trump allies claims, rather than being rightly skeptical, as they should have been to the absurd rantings of Guilani and Stone.

The writer is clearly trying to back up his Trump buddies’ claims by providing supporting text to their rantings here.
