'wasn't just campaign to influence voters-but an effort to hack election software to change outcome'

..................

In fact, revelations in the indictments will confirm the worst fears of many in Washington who believe the 2016 election meddling was just a precursor for what the Kremlin has planned this November.

“The charges indicate that this wasn’t just a campaign by Russia to influence voters, but an effort to hack election software to change the outcome,” Barbara McQuade, a former U.S. attorney in Michigan, told POLITICO.
“This should be a wake-up call to safeguard our upcoming elections as a matter of national security.”

It was a criminal enterprise and he was involved. Meddling is way too trite.

It's time to play hardball. Things are phrased in such a way as to tip-toe around the issue, as if not to seem biased or partisan. The problem is it backfires. "Meddling" sounds like what a bunch of kids up to no good do on a Friday night. "They were meddling with my front gate, and I found it covered with toilet paper the next day!"

Trump. Shitty right wing newspaper. I mostly just read the comics and sometimes the sports page.

I know where Michael Connell is, but for some odd reason these two just popped into my thoughtcicles.

any of the hacked local election offices were in Mi. Wis. Pa. where the 100,000 votes gave the Orange ass the election. I'm thinking if yes then we need to drop the fiction that the cabal did not affect the outcome.
