You’re absolutely right. I’m in my 50’s and have attended marches and rallies for the first time in my life. Also switched from I to D because it now seems more important than ever to get involved with primaries.

July 4th I walked in my first parade, with a local congressional candidate, since I was a Boy Scout in about 1955.
It was 94 degrees. Fortunately it was downhill..

But not so much in Scotland where the Scottish National Party is pretty strong. She's certainly scores more favorably than our "dear leader".

Until recently, she was mired in 'traditional royalty' mode but now she's been letting her guard down and smiling, relaxed and enjoying life. She knows her days, and her husband's days, are limited. She's finally passing on some responsibilities to her son and making her own work load lighter. It is obvious from watching her interactions with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her family gives her great joy.

Then trump* arrived.

They say that if Parliament handed the Queen her own death warrant, she'd have to sign it, so I'm pretty sure she had no say in this catastrophe.

I differ in opinion but I also don't think it's one of the most important topics of politicks.

Do you remember him hulking (bulking) around the stage during his debate with Hillary. Played well to some crowds. Just like his dissing the Queen. For us to totally ignore his behavior while his crowds feed on it is to say "boys will be boys."
