So whatever happened to Rush Limbaugh?

Once upon a time, the Outrage Du Jour usually came from him. Now, you almost never hear about him. Did he get pushed out of that many markets?

Or, did he have a crisis of conscience and is now trying to mitigate some of the damage he did over the years he was popular?

I kid.

Limbaugh is a fat, ugly, repulsive loudmouth with a taste for prescription painkillers and 14 year-old Dominican prostitutes.

And he still has his thunder stolen by Tangerine Tinyhands...

8. Lindbaugh helped create this mess.

Lindbaugh was one of the originators of the hatred that has been destroying our country - never based on facts, just a blowhard with an inflammatory rhetoric. A degree in political science? I don’t think so. I, for one, am glad to see him losing advertisers. First came Lindbaugh, then along comes the Tea Baggers with their extremist right wing ideology, which, by the way, was always a Republican goal - that of pulling the country as far to the right as they possibly could so that Democratic concessions would be forced to gradually move more to the right. Then add FUX Entertainment to the mix and here we are, mired in shit up to our chins and dealing with a communist plant in the White House.

So far, we still have the right to free speech. We do, however, need to be intelligent enough to discern crap from reality, and the past several years have shown us to be more gullible than intelligent. In some ways, this is true on both sides. Outside interference can shape attitudes as much as idiot radio and TV personalities.

God Bless the Constitution of the United States of America. Let’s all drop down on our knees and pray that this whole mess doesn’t end up in civil war.

Despite the manipulated ratings numbers, the show has lost $ almost since it's inception.
The whole "support" thing has been underwritten by uber wealthy media moguls who want the country in their 2 dimensional image.

All Things Considered, Morning Edition and MarketPlace. But it's scary that Limbaugh is fourth.
