The reason houndstooth is traditionally a fall/winter clothing fabric is because, when worn in the summer, it makes the wearer look like an anthropomorphic picnic.

And if you pay $2200 for a fucking dress, you’ve been ripped off. There are people starving in the world today, some of whom probably helped sew that dress. Buy that stuff at Goodwill and tell people it’s an Oscar de la Renta. Literally no one would know the difference, including Oscar de la Renta, and if they DID know the difference, they wouldn’t say anything anyway because she’s the goddamned President’s daughter.
