Question: Shouldn't the Dem Strategy on Kavanaugh Be to Delay Until Past the Midterms?

Use the millions of documents as a way to stretch it all out? That takes the pressure off the three Senators up for re-election who voted for Gorsuch (Manchin, Heitkamp, Donnelly). And then you have to pressure Collins and Murkowsky. Is this possible? If so, why not, if only to punish McConnell for the Merritt Garland fiasco. Is this right?

A good place to start talking and insisting on seeing his communications. And his finances.
He’s starkly partisan, and we cannot have that. I think Collins and Murkowski are more in play than they let on. I believe we will give them more reasons to vote no.

(In fact I think he claimed he had no knowledge about them, when his job description required he’d know) and issues were about Guantanamo and I believe torture, among others. This was at his last confirmation hearing.
This has to be a main line of attack, because they will muddy the waters on abortion and his partisanship.
And his complete lack of credibility alone- coupled w his partisan flip flops- should be enough to sink him.
It’s what I’m contacting Manchin, Collins and Murkowski about.

is packing the United States courts with are not Russian agents?

He can't name anyone to the SC now! When this all blows up, we need to examine every single one of his federal court appointments. ALL of them! Including Gorsuch.

That pales in comparison to obstructing a conservative SCOTUS nomination. Mitch McConnell is PRAYING that we do this - it gives the GOP something to whip up their base to GOTV.

Fact is that Kavanaugh getting on the court is pretty much a foregone conclusion and we really have to decide whether it's better to retreat on this and give those red state senators a fighting chance

or

Stall, obstruct and help kindle a fire under their base's ass that will have them at the polls in droves while letting senators like Manchin and Heitkamp take the fall for us.
