(12,418 posts)We -- we voters and elected Dems -- should just sit back and twiddle our thumbs?
NO!! THere's never a wrong time to do the right thing.
Avenatti's right, and I'm sitting here FUMING because our fine Dems in Congress apparently haven't even thought of it. But if they have, and have chosen not to say anything for the same reason you cite, then I'm even more pissed.

BUT, we -- the rank and file AND elected Dems -- must demand it anyhow because it's the right thing to do.

hard to foresee the next move.
i could imagine scenarios where Putin does hand over some of them to insert agents and rebuild Trump's credibility.
the pieces are moving, but we're way past chess here, this is more like Agents of SHIELD territory. for every move a countermove, who has the deeper anchor? guess we're about to find out...

(7,142 posts)change the narrative. Get the complicit M$M cable news anchors to ask their Republican guests why Trump and they aren't demanding extradition of the Russians who attacked our country. Russia didn't "meddle" in our election, they attacked our nation and we need to respond.

(37,648 posts)before? I assume because we don't have a quid pro quo with Russia for extradition? Extradition is for use with those countries we have an agreement with on that. Either country can demand extradition.

I think this idea is going nowhere.

(7,142 posts)those Russians to be extradited, that's not the point. Every American should be demanding those Russians be extradited, especially our president, our Congress, and our diplomatic officials.
Jeezus people, those Russians carried out a cyber attack against our country, IMO that's an act of war. I'm sick of listening to the debates about maybe Russia influenced our election, maybe it was Seth Rich and not the Russians, no votes were flipped. (where's the proof?)
Our country needs to demand extradition to at least change the narrative, and changing the narrative is extremely important.
It needs to happen before it is too late. We may only have one shot at turning this thing around.
