(21,529 posts)that's when you just say "i'm sorry but i think someone tried to trick you, this isn't a real coupon." and if she presses on just say "i'm sorry but i cannot accept this".

(28,270 posts)The only factor in all of these ridiculous 911 calls from panicked white people is race.
This guy would have never called 911 if the lady was white.
This keeps happening day after day in Dumps Amerikkka. There needs to be a law against using 911 for BS reasons! Put a heavy fine on it or a couple days in jail and this racial harassment would end.

(9,527 posts)At this point we've seen enough of these where it ends poorly for the person making the call. Surely the new callers have to understand the potential consequences.

(21,675 posts)In the thirteen pages of petitions with 1,890 signatures, five pages were found to be written by Matson after a handwriting analyst confirmed.
Matson admitted under oath that he, in fact, did write in many of the signatures himself. According to a DNAinfo article, he said he wrote in many of his friends and coworkers names at an area Walgreens store where he works. He also improperly listed the Walgreens address as thier home.
In addition, Matson told the online publication that he has been collecting signatures for the past fifteen months. According to the law, you are required to collect them within ninety days.
--------
In a scathing document released by the Board of Elections Commissioners about the findings, they said that there was a pattern of fraud, false swearing and total disregard of the requirements of the election code. The Electoral Board further finds that the appropriate remedy is the invalidation of every petition sheet tainted by such conduct.

EDGEWATER A white CVS manager who called the police on a black woman trying to use a coupon at an Edgewater store Friday night is under investigation by the pharmacy, which apologized to the customer, officials said.
The manager involved in the incident, Morry Matson, was a delegate for President Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign, and is running for alderman of the 48th Ward on Chicagos Far North Side. Hes also behind an effort to bring back the Log Cabin Republicans a group of LGBTQ Republicans in the state.
Camilla Hudson, the customer whose Facebook post about the interaction has now gone viral, told Block Club Chicago she was on her way home when she randomly decided to stop at the 6150 N. Broadway store to stretch her legs, buy a drink and use her coupon, which was for a free item related to a health issue.
A native Chicagoan who also lived in Evanston for 10 years, Hudson said she had been to the 24-hour CVS location many times. She posted the incident after seeing many videos of white people calling the police on black people for no legitimate reason online in recent months. ....

At any rate, the district manager is going to be none to pleased about that I imagine. Oh and the bad publicity.

White CVS manager who called cops on black woman with coupon is Republican who was busted for forging signatures: report
.
.
Matson is a conservative who opposes high taxes, but Matson was also politically active in leading an effort to build a waterfront bike path to a beach near his own home. As part of that effort, he got the government to make the beachs old sea wall a historic landmark and worked to convince his racist neighbors that that improving the beachfront would not mean they saw an influx of people from the South Side.
But Matson got overzealous. An opponent of his expensive bike path went to look at the signatures for a ballot measure and discovered that five of the 13 pages the signatures were written by him.
.
.
The City of Chicagos Board of Election Commissioners and its handwriting expert agreed with several of Sullivans complaints after reviewing the pages primarily that five of at least 13 sheets of signatures, save for two names, were written in Matsons own handwriting and listed addresses for some of those signatures that werent homes.
