Monday she was Audi driving VP of CA investment company.. then she called other motorists the N-word

AN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KMOV/KRON/CNN) -- It didn't take long for a video of a driver screaming racial slurs at another motorist to go viral.

Twitter users figured out who that angry driver was, and the investment bank where she worked fired her for it.

It is a road rage incident caught on cellphone video that has gone been viewed thousands of times. In it, you see a woman using foul language and making obscene hand gestures. Then she drops the N-word.

"It actually made me upset. If anyone has seen the video, I was kind of shocked that she went along and said that,” Marshaunte Farris said.

Farris was in the passenger seat recording the video. Her boyfriend, Shamiek Sheppard, was behind the wheel.

The incident happened Monday at around 10 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 freeway.

"And as we were leaving Richmond to go through Emeryville to get back to Oakland, she just started tripping,” Farris said.

necessary as a step to rein in bad behaviors across society, but!

Sure as some people scream insults out windows, some others will use this new capability to destroy. Let's assume this one is probably true as told but hold off complete belief. I googled but did not find the kind of source that would have investigated and verified before publishing.

these racist incidents being uploaded to the internet and the perps getting fired does it take for the dummies to realize EVERYONE HAS A CELL PHONE AND CAN RECORD YOUR RACISM AND YOUR ASS CAN GET FIRED?

The sad thing is racist assholes don't know they are being racist assholes until they are called out on it. There could be a million of these videos out there, and there will still be another 2 or 3 million more. It's a disease.

Especially if it's happening almost anywhere? Bet a bunch of parents, anxious about college admissions and future careers, are adding warnings to their teens about the dangers of being documented misbehaving to all the others. Anonymity, if not gone, is far from guaranteed and consequences more possible than they've been for a very long time.

And less acting out will calm the virulence of this disease considerably. Don't know if you remember the letting-it-all-out fad of the...early 1980s? The trendy theory was that it was healthy and healing for people to express their anger, etc., but that one didn't last long. Turns out, expressing strong emotions tends to inflame, not relieve, them. Controlling them works much better.

These people's moving their bad sides to the front and acting out is part of a wave of anxiety from intense change. It should pass -- if we don't fall to it. We're still the nation that elected Obama twice and were pleased with ourselves and him, even if we now know some really weren't ready for it.

This is too overt for her not to know she is a racist asshole. So are the others who use such language and other openly racist tropes.
The ones who don’t realize it are those who do racist things all the time that are not as easy to see because nobody is yelling crap.

They really think PC(not being a racist) is some government thing and with trump it is gone. They are too stupid to realize it is the free market driving it.

And public censure can and does change attitudes. I am 52. At 22 I guarantee you I would not have welcomed on DU. But I am fortunate enough to work for a company that was and is at the forefront of supporting a diverse workplace. It helped change me.

being used to video her tirade?? And what brought on such a vicious attack? Maybe they inadvertently did something she did not like or caused a problem for her. Still no reason to lose her sh*t and go on such a rant. And everyone these days understands the consequences of a viral video. Maybe she is just a walking time bomb who got caught before she killed someone on the highway. But what price will she ultimately pay? Hope the highway patrol investigation brings charges against her.

And tried to squeeze through me but there wasn't enough room for a safe lane change and I was boxed in.

He showed up yelling and giving me the finger.

I raised up my phone like I was filming and he kept it up for 10 seconds and then saw the phone and immediately slowed down and took the next exit off.

I probably should learn how to use my phone as a video camera.

Not to be overly cautious, but should you get in a fender-bender, or ???, you can document the incident, etc. Hopefully, you'll never have to use your phone/camera for that.
