Royal family 'snubbed' Trump and Melania during UK visit: They 'simply refused to attend'

According to the Sunday Times, members of the royal family, including Prince Charles and Prince William, refused to meet with President Donald Trump and his wife Melania during their stop-over in London.

The report states that the family left it to Queen Elizabeth II to meet and greet the American president while everyone else avoided Trump who is highly unpopular in the United Kingdom.

According to a “well-placed sources” at Buckingham Palace, the two princes avoidance of Trump’ “was a snub,” with a source saying they “simply refused to attend.”

It must've really pissed off ol' Traitor Tot, especially since the Obamas were feted with a full State Dinner & an overnight stay in Buckingham Palace. Little Prince George even got to stay up past his bedtime to meet the Obamas. It's exhausting being perpetually embarrassed for America because of that orange, spray-tanned oaf.

Good for Princes Charles and William. I knew they had standards to uphold.

The Obamas have class. I hope they get more invites from the Royals for more than just an overnight visit now that they are private citizens. They are loved all over the world.

They were staying at a remote and very private French estate home, which is owned by Princess Margaret’s son, The Earl of Snowden (the then Viscount Linley).

They had every expectation of privacy on a private vacation at their cousin’s country home.

Paparazzi hid in vegetation at a very great distance and used super high powered lenses to get a picture of The Duchess of Cambridge who was sunbathing on a balcony or terrace.

to having to perform repugnant duties. During WW11, she drove an ambulance in London. willingly. This meeting with tRump and his ho is just another duty to be performed. Low class people normnally have to do something special to be invited to meet the queen. tRump stole an election, so that does not count. His "wife" posed nude and was a paid escort, why is she special?

She has met every British prime minister from Churchill on to the present day. I’m not sure who the first US President was that she met. I’m sure none have been as absolutely apalling as Dolt45.

Presidents. And am sure the worst was two days ago.

My best guess is,this will be the new norm of State visits when it comes to Trump. History is now recording Trump as the most undignified Leader of any Nation. And we have had some real bad ones, but, they were at least, courteous to their adversaries. This embarrassment reminds one of the Drunken Uncle who could not keep his hands off your Sixteen year old Daughter.

She looked as miserable as the Pope did. The two princes should've snubbed him and I wish (and I am sure the Queen wished she had that option). I know Harry likes Obama and so does his wife. The moron's "ratings" with the royal are pretty telling and even though he may not say it, we all know he feels the royal snub. Thank You England!!!!

The British Parliament could abolish the monarchy if it wanted to, but it would appear that most Britons prefer to keep it. The Queen doesn't have much power - she's the head of state but not the head of government - but the monarchy, which goes back a thousand years, is an important national symbol. Their country, their queen. Not our business.

Some things that you'd think would be seen as relics of a less enlightened era do tend to be hard for some folks to let go of. Also I don't really buy the argument "Their country, their queen. Not our business." There are certainly things that go on in other countries that we in America have the right to protest (just as non-Americans can protest things going on here).

Two years ago while visiting outside of Buckingham palace, many ladies were watching him and seriously whispering as to whether he was Harry. It’s plagued him all of his life, even though we live in the USA. Kudos to Charles and William for not wanting to meet with the Rump, but had Harry or my grandson been there, they would’ve taken Queen Grandma by the hand, led her inside, and then met the fat old fart on a one on one.
