I always miss my home state during election year. Hopefully I'll be there to see my dad on Primary Day.

And they support Trump "no matter what" just because he supports their bad policies.

What we stand for is a far better message than what we stand against (proactive vs reactive). This is not to say that we shouldn't speak up against Trump's policies, it means that we flip the message to underscore our core values and how our core values are the fabric of this country.

Obama blew McCain out of the water in 2008 here (by 16-17%). There is a reason why.

Don’t campaign on “Trump will take your healthcare”

Because everyone already knows that. Instead, campaign on:

“I will protect your healthcare.”

I'll watch the returns on WDIV and maybe hit a close-by party, maybe Coleman Young's. I see our candidates speak on the issues, but mainstream media only airs attacks.

Appreciate all you do here, always bringing points of updates for our Dem Candidates on a daily basis.
You are doing a great service for DUers around the country. I wouldn't know of some candidates, how hard they work, the funds they raise, & how very close they are to upsetting the Republican dominance without your daily updates.

Thank You!

So I thought it might a good day. Thanks for the kudos though I could really use the help. I’m trying to connect our candidates with people who might want to give of their time or money.

But I'm REALLY sick of hearing that.

For one thing, anti-Trump means we can get back to something approaching normal, end the massive level of corruption, stop alienating our allies, put Putin in a box and protect our elections, start to fix the damage he's done and pursue other goals again, and so much more.

For another thing: where the hell do our esteemed Democratic leaders think the energy in the party at the grassroots is coming from? Is it coming from NOT being anti-Trump? There are indications (polls, tho not direct) that when we're NOT putting up an anti-Trump fight we're losing enthusiasm.

Finally, who the HELL are they talking about who's out there running purely on an anti-Trump agenda? EFFing NO ONE, that's who.

So we all have to sit and listen to remonstrations to, in effect, lay off Trump.

BULL EFFING SHIT

Again: no offense to him or you. I know it's all done with the best of intentions.

If that's an answer to why they (candidates) should NEVER be anti-Trump, I'd say the fight needs to be taken up with the press, not with the rest of us, esp. candidates.

We can run on "pros" and not "cons", not even even Don the Con. We are pro affordable Health care, real tax cuts, pro infrastructure, Pro NATO, Pro Choice, pro Mueller investigation, pro gun control and pro DACA.

Polls have shown that over 50% of the entire US (the majority) support all of these issues!
