Ron Perlman tweets his observation about the GOP and it speaks for me

?s=21

I’ve spent 68 yrs in this nation. I’ve seen moments sublime, mediocre, and regrettable. But I have never, til this moment witnessed such a large swarth of our countrymen so willing to participate and hasten the handing over of our fought for rebublic to a sworn foreign enemy.

All my life growing up the republicons made everyone left of their ideologies as communist loving hippies on that one!

And yet all along it was them who are the TRAITORS!!!

Lord Fatass was signaling/projecting this on Democrats from the start.

Blaming hippies (code for “libruls”) was the same.

He's a Vietnam Vet who spent his career in the military. Both of us can hardly process what is happening to our country.
It's especially maddening that the GOP just sits on their hands doing nothing about it.

No, they ARE doing something -- they're trying to subvert the FBI and are working towards impeaching the assistant AG in order to end the Mueller investigation into Russia's attack on our democracy.

The GOP is actively working against the efforts of US law enforcement on behalf of a POtuS whose actions substantially benefit a foreign adversary.

We were talking specifically about our Sen. Flake who comes out with strongly worded statements like this one:

But, is in a position of power and does NOTHING to stop him.

......along the new road to serfdom. Removing the obstacles to authoritarian slavery set up by our founding fathers and their successors. Fascism has come to America, and its name is "GOPee"/"Trumpski".

Swarth means...
"Swarth is defined as turf or soil that is covered by grass."

Swath means...
"a row or line of grass, grain, or other crop as it lies when mown or reaped."

So i don't know about "entirely different"

We've seen the Trumpster's & Republican enablers go from the investigation is a hoax/witch hunt phase to the never-ending 'No Collusion' shout outs to the 'so what if the Russians interfered.'

Just this morning Rand Paul was saying we should let the past go and move forward. Of course, he also added the 'whataboutism' details of US interference in other countries which is suppose to negate what Putin and his co-conspirators actually did.

Really?

The Trumpster can't even admit that Putin is a dictator. "Maybe," he said. "I don't know but it would be better if we were friends."

Again, really?

And when asked if he would bring up the Russian military officers named in Mueller's indictment, he said, "I haven't really thought about it."

Anyone who still supports or makes excuses for the Imposter-in-Chief is a treason weasel in my book. Sorry, you don't get to sell out your country and then call yourself a patriot.

TREASON WEASAL

Write it across your forehead because that's what you are.

I have been busy and haven't posted much. I barely get time to read the front page anymore. But when I read this it spelled out exactly how I felt. So, I had to log in just to recommend this post.

As a retired member of the armed forces, I am so aghast to see the GOP embracing treason and Russia like a baby embraces their mother. I earned a medal, as did all my peers who fought, for winning the cold war. Now that medal has no meaning. While Russian agents continue their cyber attacks on our infrastructure, the Republicans are handing our Victory over to the enemy we once vanquished. It is a very sad day for America. I had no idea how full of gloating traitors the party of Lincoln had become.

at the press conf with trump reporter asked trump about the intel assessment that russia attacked us and trump just turned it into an attack on hillary, which is exactly what 1500 radio stations do any time that subject comes up

and i would be very surprised if the russians haven't been calling those radio stations, maybe for many years
