Consider the following facts whenever the Trump people deny collusion with Russia

1. Roger Stone has been an acquaintance of Donald Trump since 1979.

2. Roger Stone has been a business partner since 1980 of now indicted and incarcerated Paul Manafort, the campaign manager for Donald Trump

3. The bulk of the hacking and attempted hacking of the DNC and Clinton campaign took place while Manafort was campaign manager

4. Communications between Stone and Russian hackers regarding stolen materials, made while Manafort was the campaign manager of Trump campaign, are now an official part of a criminal indictment alleging campaign hacking.

Ergo, to claim that Roger Stone solicited hacked materials during the election and the Trump campaign had absolutely no knowledge or involvement with it is to run contrary to almost 40 years of relationships between these three individuals.

That’s as pretty much of a closed case as you can possibly imagine.
