House and Senate Democrats

Why aren't Democrats - TONIGHT - holding a press conference about Trump having a 90 minutes, closed-door meeting with Putin tomorrow? Days after another round of indictments for interfering with our democracy? Why aren't you fighting for us?!

If the press doesn't show up. The media only wants to report on what the repubs are doing.

I remember when Obama was first sworn into office, the Dems were in the m as jority in Congress and the Senate, the Sunday shows seemed to only book republicans...

Mock it as a "strongly worded letter," and mock them for "lack of action" and being "all talk."

So you criticize them for not saying something.

You should check out that derision here on DU aimed at Schumer for officially telling DT that he should nominate Merrick Garland.

Bashing Dem leaders seems to be a sport these days.

You seem to assume that they are not fighting for us.

Why?

You seem to assume that you are personally owed a press conference, or that means they are not doing their job.

here are so ready to declare their disappointment with Democratic leaders. They set an unrealistic or impossible bar so they can say unless the Dems do this, they are not doing their job. Some seem to be looking for excuses to be outraged.
