What do you base these statements on? The reporter stated he wanted to ask a question about it!

(7,392 posts)1. Difficult to watch, horrifying, vicious, indicative of Trump's end game.
We'd better stop this.

...what matters to Don is that Vlad saw him take action. What he said was "see...I can be just like you".
What an asshat. 2018 is the last chance boys and girls. by 2020, this chit is going to be normalized and cemented into daily life.
He spent today priming the pump...pointing out to his base that "Russia's not all that bad". So when Mueller shows up and says he knowing colluded with a foreign power to steal the election his response will be "what ??? not any foreign power...I worked with our good friends Russia". And the base will cheer like the Founders cheered France's help in the Rev. War.
What an asshat.

(94,489 posts)3. This was NOT "press suppression"
The reporter had the right to make his protest. He did NOT have the right to do it at the Press Conference, and he didnt have the right to abuse his press credentials to be able to do so.
Would you have supported someone from Breitbart launching a portent when President Obama announced the nuclear deal with Iran?

Putin and Trump werent in the room, so he wasnt in a position to ask a question; he was playing to the other reporters in the room.
Why the suppression?

I repeat my question: if Breitbart pulled the same stunt at an Obama press conference, would you be equally supportive?

More specifically, Obama's Secret Service would have pulled him, or any source of a disruption out of the room.

Looks like Putin didn't like it. I thought the conference was held in a nation with freedom of the press.
