I share your anxiety of course. We'll see. Goodness knows Trump is doing his best to make people understand the huge differences between Republicans and Democrats, between conservatives and liberals, between anti-government tools and progressives. What all those whose normal, preferred state is unawareness are making of finding themselves apparently living in the worst, most silly and unreadable political novel ever...! Perhaps politics is finally looking as corrupt, Republican anyway, as some of them always imagined, though.

By quiet Dems I meant all those Democratic voters who keep surprising the party's noisy people on election day, and confounding the claims of those whose hostile spins don't include them, by existing.
