The next Democratic President just needs to find a way to fix that mess Fox & hate radio create on a regular basis. The brainwashing needs to stop, since it makes the US an unreliable partner if other nations can't trust the elected leader to be of sound mind, and support western values. Bush was pretty borderline with Guantanamo and torture camps, but Trump is simply a disaster.
Many of us Germans still *want* to be an ally of the US, but it's pretty damn difficult right now.
However, the sad truth is that many Germans, too, have lost their mind to the fringe left or right wing of our political spectrum. Those are often very anti-American, and their numbers appear to be growing. It breaks my heart, too. We need a global fight for globalism and working together as western nations (and nations in the east that support "western values" 
) to achieve world wide wealth, humanitarianism, peace, etc before it's too late.
