(10,437 posts)Voters know both these men but only one has the liability of trump, his party wanting to cut social security and Medicare and the ill fated trump tariff taxes....Scott will be in heap of trouble trying to sound like a democrat.

(4,429 posts)and there are plenty of areas in FL that will vote for him no matter what. When I worked in the panhandle, in the prisons, the guards hated that Scott was bent on privatizing them. They would lose money in that deal (a lot of money)
They voted for Scott anyway.
I lived there for quite some time - and voted for Nelson for years. But Scott has money to burn (millions of his own dollars). He will buy this seat if he can.
Anyway, I worry about this race
(though glad to see that Nelson has a slight lead . This is good!)
