Thomas Freedman made it quite clear on CNN the only way to stop this is by voting Democratic in the

midterms, because the republicans have made it very clear they will not do anything

I think his assessment is right

Better to spend time executing voter registration drives and making sure people know how Trump is hurting them.

But of course, street protests get some people's blood to pumping. Me, they do nothing for me, I prefer voting in the government that the country needs right now.
