The FBI didn't take the server. Why is that, he asked. He said the FBI was told to leave the Dems' offices.
I think he's STILL rambling on about Clinton's emails????!!!!

(37,648 posts)I think I remember that, if that's a server having to do with Kushner trying to set up a "back channel" to communicate with Russia. It was before the inauguration but after the election? And shockingly was approved by Repubs in Congress? (approved of after the fact, but told them to knock it off until after the inauguration? Something like that.)
I had forgotten all about that.
OMG. The server must be mentioned in the indictments?

(9,965 posts)Imagine some punk-ass thief : "If she hadn't left the keys in the car, I would'nt `a stole it! I'm tellin ya, It's all her fault! Who you gonna believe - me, or your lyin` eyes?"
Really, this tactic - "whataboutisim" in Cold War terms - has been the mainstay of "conservative"* debate since the days of "Impeach Earl Warren". Take any little flaw, inconsistency, or personal sore spot, and put it forward like the worst thing since rancid bologna & dogshit souffle`.
*"NeoConfederate", "NeoFeudalist", or "AvantKleptos" would all be far more accurate.

(37,648 posts)No one knows for sure. Trump doesn't identify.
I suppose he's referring to whatever is referenced in the indictment allegations.
He also says, "I really do want to see the server." Yeah, that sounds more like the DNC server that was hacked.

(3,515 posts)In paragraph 8 of the Indictment, Mueller's team alleges that the Russians had a network of computers around the world including in the US. The purpose was allegedly to "avoid detection."
Paragraph 18 alleges that the operation did not just consist of hacking e-mails but also involved posting comments on social media (a fact we already know well).
Paragraph 19 alleges that a specific officer had the responsibility for organizing the dissemination of stolen information on the internet. (Before the officer could disseminate the information, it had to have been stolen.)
Paragraph 21 alleges that over 300 people were targeted with "spearfishing" designed to persuade or fool them into disclosing their passwords and private information.
Skipping interesting information, in Paragraph 22, the Mueller team alleges that they know approximately how many spearfishing attempts the Russians made.
Paragraph 23, the Mueller team alleges that it can state with fair precision exactly how many spearfishing attempts the Russians made around a specific time.
Paragraph 25, the Mueller team alleges how the Russians configured an overseas computer to act as a middle computer between their computer and the hacked computer(s). The hackers then instructed the hacked computer to communicate with that middle computer and follow its instructions. That was in April of 2016.
Skipping lots of information, in Paragraph 31, the Mueller team alleges that the Russians deleted certain files from the servers to hide their work on the servers. (At least that is how I understand that paragraph.) They, for instance allegedly deleted their login record. (Which is of course why the Russians would emphasize that without the servers, there is no evidence. Clearly, the Mueller team does not need more access to the servers that were hacked for evidence because they have detailed allegations as is.)
Paragraph 33 alleges how on June 20, 2016, the DNC cleaned up their server, and the Russians attempted to get back in.
In Paragraph 39, the Mueller team alleges that the Russians operated accounts aimed at organizing anti-Hillary acts.
Now it gets really interesting.
The Mueller team alleges in Paragraph 41 exactly when, between 4:19 and 4:56 p.m. Moscow time on June 15, 2016, the Russians searched for certain words which they later used on posts and/or Tweets. In Paragraph 42, the Mueller team alleges precisely what computer was used for the searches.
That is the most amazing allegation in this Indictment in my opinion and demonstrates just how well documented the Indictment is.
I won't go on because the indictment is very long, but I think this represents really impressive work on the part of the Mueller team.
Trump should ask the CIA and investigators for the United States why they are making these allegations when they don't have the servers. And then, HE SHOULD LISTEN TO THE ANSWERS.
Trump apparently has not yet had time to read the Indictment.
Maybe he will change his tune once he reads it.
