No chance in hell they will put the future of America over their immediate re-election chances.

Though if they did vote for impeachment it might actually increase their votes right now.

this is classic foot dragging etc by the gop.
Most likely all members of congress are on a train to some hideout somewhere to get all their ducks in a row. hopefully no one gets killed at a train crossing this time (in their haste to go party etc.)

tends to make everyone birdy. Funny though that they are just going to go along w it.
Lots of other countries have evidence to proffer besides Spain and England. And it's not going to be good for the gop.

At the very least, he's failing to protect the U.S. constitution from enemies foreign and domestic by compromising the the validity and security of our future elections.

there would have to be much more, and my impression is that Trump wanted these reactions. What does he have to gain, if he wanted to make back room deals and assure Putin of this or that he does not need a summit that everyone knows about to do it. It was total smoke and mirrors to get us to bite, and or distract us, that's my honest opinion. He orchestrated the entire thing did he not? To what end?
