Up until now, I've been hesitant to use the "T-word"...

I've argued that 45's actions didn’t meet the legal standard of treason. That removing him on charges of corruption, election fraud, and obstruction of justice would be sufficient.

I can do so no longer.

It is abundantly clear that our country was attacked by a foreign power in 2016. If 45 could previously claim that he himself wasn’t involved (Nixon's old "blame overzealous underlings" defense), he can do so no longer after today, where he publicly aiddd and abetted that attack.

No possible question anymore: Donald Trump has committed treason against the United States — and deserves the (lawfully-administrated) penalty reserved for a traitor.
