Trump and Putin announced their next moves: stop the investigation and raise the sanctions.

Putin is running out of time to raise the sanctions. Trump's polling is not getting better and the investigation is getting hotter. There is no more time for more pr. The mention of the Magnitsky act was the give away.

By the way, does anyone think that Trump has not betrayed to Putin all the top secret intelligence that he gets?

He's looking for a bigger and better pay off. All that smirking and posturing. All that controlled laughter at the press conference.

No, there's more than just sanctions lifting going on.

What would make a bunch of Russian mobsters laugh so much?

The deal was made with Chevron by Tillerson to help the Russians exploit their oil, but the sanctions stopped the deal. Once Russia can tap into the oil, it will suddenly become a major supplier on the world stage.

The talk of combining Russia efforts with our IC to investigate collusion was just an inside joke for Putin.
